About this Site

AIDS Action Committee is proud to partner with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to bring you this website and its resources. The site provides important information about prevention, screening, transmission, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and sexually transmitted diseases (STD), and is targeted toward Massachusetts residents between the ages of 18 and 29, a group with high STD transmission rates. AAC conducted interviews with health care providers and young people to learn what youth know about STDs, and what might prevent them from getting tested. Our goal is to provide clear, concise information, and to help people make smart, healthy decisions about their sexual lives and overall sexual health.

We'd like to know what you think of this site, and how we can make it better. Please contact us with your feedback and suggestions.

If you have questions or need more information about STDs, call our toll-free hotline at 800.235.2331 to speak anonymously with a trained counselor or email us at STD411@aac.org
